Dawn was founded in 2021 on the social media platform Instagram. From the very beginning, our first products were vintage (second-hand) clothing carefully curated to suit a feminine yet simple and minimalist style. Dawn stood out as a pioneer by reimagining vintage pieces, adding delicate floral details or bows to each item, creating unique designs that set us apart.
In 2022, Dawn reached a significant milestone by officially establishing a store dedicated to our own original designs. We took the lead in introducing the Coquette trend—a fresh and emerging style in Vietnam’s fashion scene at the time. Alongside this, the Instagram account 1998beforethedawn was created. A year later, with a desire to bring our products closer to customers, we opened our first physical store on December 8, 2023. Located at 42 Ton That Thiep Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Dawn & 1998beforethedawn sits in the heart of a bustling fashion hub alongside other local brands. This space allows customers to experience Dawn’s designs firsthand and explore a selection of imported products from abroad.
The year 2025 marks a new chapter in Dawn’s journey. Thanks to the trust and support of our beloved customers, we’ve expanded our sales channels and proudly launched our official website. This step ensures that you can access Dawn’s products more easily and professionally, no matter where you are.
